Performance Marketing Manager
The Role
We're looking for a commercially driven, forward-thinking Performance Marketing Manager to lead our paid media strategy for our Novasol brand.
Paid media is evolving faster than ever, and we need someone who understands the fundamentals but is constantly thinking about how to improve, innovate, and stay ahead of the curve — someone who brings a genuinely commercial mind, an inquisitive streak, and fluency in how AI is reshaping performance marketing.
You'll take ownership of our paid activity for Novasol, working within our wider performance team across core brands including Hoseasons, Cottages.com & James Villas. With responsibility for a significant budget and ambitious targets, you'll play a key role in driving high-quality customer acquisition in a highly competitive travel market.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on optimisation, and build strong collaborative relationships across teams including Revenue Management, Brand, SEO, Product and Analytics.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing, you will:
Own the end-to-end paid media strategy for the Novasol brand
Lead day-to-day optimisation of campaigns, ensuring budgets are allocated effectively to maximise ROI and commercial performance
Leverage automation, AI-driven solutions and new platform innovations to continuously improve performance
Design and run a structured testing programme across structure, creative, landing pages, audience strategy and bidding models, applying sound measurement and incrementality frameworks to validate results
Work closely with Revenue Management to align performance activity with pricing, occupancy and commercial priorities
Manage the creative supply chain with Brand and Creative teams — briefing, production timelines and asset delivery — ensuring messaging and creative supports broader marketing objectives
Partner with SEO and Product teams to improve landing page performance, conversion rates and overall customer journey
Analyse and report on performance trends, surfacing risks and opportunities with clear, commercially-framed recommendations
Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to ensure we remain ahead in an increasingly competitive PPC landscape
Contribute to a culture of innovation within the performance team, championing new ideas, tools and ways of working
Ultimately, you'll be accountable for delivering performance and ensuring paid channels continue to be a key driver of acquisition for Novasol.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong paid media expertise with commercial acumen, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
Experience & Technical Skills
Proven experience managing PPC campaigns at scale is essential (Search Ads 360 experience desirable)
Strong commercial mindset and analytical skills — able to connect paid media performance to revenue, margin and business outcomes, not just channel metrics
Solid grounding in measurement and testing frameworks — attribution, incrementality and structured test-and-learn methodology
AI-literate, with hands-on experience using automation and AI-driven tools to improve paid media performance
Experience managing a creative supply chain — briefing and working with creative teams or agencies to keep campaigns fresh and effective
Experience managing paid social and programmatic activity desirable
Experience managing significant budgets with clear accountability
Experience within travel or another fast-paced, seasonal, commercially-driven industry is desirable
Behaviours & Mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Highly collaborative — able to build strong relationships across Revenue, Brand, SEO, Product and Analytics teams
Naturally inquisitive — comfortable questioning assumptions, testing hypotheses and exploring new platform and industry developments
Commercially minded — understands how paid channels drive business outcomes, not just channel metrics
Detail-oriented but able to think strategically

At Awaze, we know that applying for a new role is a big step - so we aim to make our hiring process as clear, respectful, and engaging as possible.
We believe hiring should be a two-way conversation. It’s just as much about you getting to know us, as it is about us learning more about you.
While the exact process can vary depending on the role, here’s what you can generally expect:
-
1. Initial Conversation
We like to keep things relaxed, so we'll usually start with an informal call. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, learn about your background and interests, and give you a better sense of the role and Awaze as a whole.
-
2. Interview Stage
If our initial conversation goes well, we will invite you for an interview. This stage will give us an opportunity to understand your skills and potential, and for you to explore whether Awaze, the culture and the role align with your ambitions.
-
3. Additional Steps
Some roles may involve follow-up interviews, presentations or skills assessments. If that's the case, our team will talk you through every step, so you always know what to expect.
